Service Specialist | Service Technician (m|f|d)
PVA Industrial Vacuum Systems GmbH, a leading international high-tech company based in Wettenberg, is seeking a Service Specialist | Service Technician to join our team. Since 1991, we have been developing and manufacturing intelligent systems for the production, finishing, and inspection of high-performance materials, serving industries ranging from semiconductors to aerospace. Responsibilities
- Advise customers on troubleshooting in systems and process engineering
- Prevent equipment downtime through preventive maintenance, spare parts inventory management, and system upgrades
- Conduct inspections and assessments of safety-critical equipment and document these at our end customers' sites
- Assist with service order processing by providing technical solutions for preparing quotes
- Commission systems on-site at the customer’s location and ensure smooth operation
- Support customers with application training related to their systems
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical questions and issues
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training in mechatronics or electronics, ideally with further training to become a state-certified technician or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of S7 controllers, TIA Portal, and safety PLCs, as well as vacuum system technology, or willingness to acquire this knowledge
- High level of commitment and motivation
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Customer-oriented with a strong hands-on mentality
- Valid Class B driver’s license
- Willingness to travel frequently for worldwide service assignments
