About the Position
We're looking for a ServiceNow Platform Architect to join our team in Spain in a remote working mode. In this client-facing role, you will partner with ServiceNow and its enterprise customers to lead architecture and design initiatives for large-scale ServiceNow implementations. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while driving modernization, workflow optimization, and cloud-native best practices. This role requires deep architectural expertise, consulting experience, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-impact environments for global organizations.
Responsibilities
- Define and own enterprise-level architecture for ServiceNow platform implementations, ensuring scalability, governance, and performance
- Lead workshops with customer stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into actionable technical designs
- Drive the adoption of best practices for ServiceNow development, integration, and workflow automation
- Apply AI capabilities within the platform to optimize operations, enhance automation, and deliver tailored solutions
- Oversee technical delivery, ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and client program leads
- Participate in program governance forums, providing architectural input for steering decisions
- Act as a senior escalation point for resolving complex technical challenges and risks
- Create comprehensive design documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience within professional services, consulting, or enterprise architecture roles
- Strong background in ServiceNow platform architecture with proven large-scale delivery expertise
- Experience leading complex programs involving workflow automation and digital transformation
- ServiceNow certifications in key workflows and/or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)
- Solid understanding of cloud application technologies, integrations, and enterprise security compliance
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute programs, manage risk, and drive resolution of complex issues
- Proficiency in leveraging AI for workflow optimization or tailored platform solutions
- Strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Industry domain expertise in Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) or System Integration Landscape (SIL) preferred
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-instance ServiceNow environments at enterprise scale
- Knowledge of advanced AI-enabled features for ServiceNow platform
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise service management best practices
