SharePoint Administrator

About the Position

We are seeking a SharePoint Administrator with 5+ years of experience to manage and support SharePoint environments in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and support SharePoint Server farms, SharePoint Online environments, and related Microsoft collaboration platforms
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint infrastructure across production, testing, and development environments
  • Provide 2nd line support for SharePoint-related incidents, service requests, and operational issues
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve SharePoint platform issues while ensuring timely updates through the ticketing system
  • Administer and maintain complex SharePoint farm environments deployed across distributed infrastructures
  • Architect, plan, and implement long-term improvements to SharePoint platforms and associated services
  • Optimize, tune, and capacity plan SharePoint environments to ensure performance, availability, and scalability
  • Deploy, configure, and support SharePoint solutions, applications, and platform enhancements
  • Execute SharePoint patch management, maintenance, and upgrade activities
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and related Microsoft 365 services
  • Design and support hybrid SharePoint architectures integrating on-premises environments with Microsoft 365 services
  • Deploy and manage SharePoint application packages (.sppkg) through the SharePoint App Catalog
  • Manage migrations and modernization initiatives using ShareGate Migration Tool
  • Administer Netcompany GetOrganized Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform and related integrations
  • Configure and manage authentication mechanisms, including OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SAML 2.0
  • Manage SSL certificates and metadata exchange between Identity Providers (IdP) and Service Providers (SP)
  • Collaborate with developers to align solution architecture, platform topology, and configuration requirements
  • Support deployment of solutions delivered by development teams across SharePoint environments
  • Contribute to the technical design and specification of solutions based on SharePoint technologies
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to harmonize solutions and operational processes
  • Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards
  • Provide activity reporting, operational updates, and technical recommendations to stakeholders
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • One of the following certifications (or an equivalent certification recognized internationally and accepted by the Contracting Authority):
    1. Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
    2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
    3. Advanced Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint 2013
    4. or equivalent, internationally recognized certification
  • Excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint technologies
  • Experience with SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online administration
  • Practical experience with SharePoint-related technologies and ecosystem components
  • Experience deploying, administering, and maintaining IIS-based solutions
  • Hands-on experience administering complex SharePoint farms within enterprise and distributed environments
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint performance optimization, tuning, and capacity planning
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including:
    1. SharePoint Online
    2. OneDrive
    3. Microsoft Teams
    4. Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
    5. Azure Logic Apps
    6. Exchange Online
  • Experience designing and supporting hybrid SharePoint solutions integrating on-premises and cloud environments
  • Practical experience with SharePoint patch management and lifecycle maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for large-scale distributed systems and enterprise platform environments
  • Basic knowledge of other Microsoft infrastructure technologies and platforms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer-focused and service-oriented mindset
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and cloud services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
