Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Data Interface: Serve as the primary contact between DNV and PMS software suppliers, assisting them in achieving DNV type approval and proper data integration.
  • Conduct Digital Audits: Perform digital audits on ship machinery maintenance data to ensure fleet-wide compliance.
  • Support Customers: Act as the go-to expert on technical matters related to machinery maintenance, rules compliance, and relevant processes.
  • Manage Projects: Maintain control over tasks and progress in various smaller projects.
  • Innovate: Continue to develop machinery services into the data-driven domain.
  • Share Knowledge: Provide valuable insights to the DNV organization and customers regarding machinery maintenance.
  • Develop Rules: Participate in the development of relevant rules and other service documents.
  • Foster Community: Be an active member of our social committee to help maintain a positive working environment.

Requirements

  • Insights in Ship Maintenance: Knowledge of ship maintenance and ship maintenance systems.
  • In-field Experience: Experience such as maintenance responsible in any industry, background from PMS software suppliers, or experience from establishing data-driven services within shipping.
  • Basic Knowledge: Basic knowledge of ship classification, rules, and class systematics is preferable.
  • Language Skills: Fluent language skills in English, and preferably Norwegian.
