About the Role
During your internship, you will investigate how secure the code is that AI assistants generate, and how vulnerabilities can be automatically identified and fixed using LLMs. This connects our daily project work with a current research project.
Responsibilities
- Gain an overview of typical vulnerabilities in AI-generated code and existing testing tools.
- Build a pipeline that automatically analyzes code from agentic AI development tools, marks vulnerabilities with LLMs, explains them, and suggests corrections.
- Integrate this pipeline into CI/CD processes and apply it to realistic scenarios.
- Create practical test cases and benchmarks from the results that directly feed into the research.
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Computer Science or a comparable program with a focus on computer science.
- Enthusiasm for software development.
- Thirst for knowledge and a desire to continuously improve.
- Good command of the German language.
