With us, you will find exciting topics, smart minds, nice people – and a lot of fun at work. This is partly due to the tasks of our clients, for whom we give our best out of conviction. And partly due to the people we like to work with. Respect and mutual appreciation make it possible. How do we work? In interdisciplinary and agile teams with expert power and a lot of passion and heart. That not only sounds good. It also feels that way.
What You'll Do Here
- Automating server configuration (primarily Debian) using Puppet is one of your tasks. You will develop existing solutions together with the team.
- You will assist in the containerization of applications such as Matomo and TYPO3, including their use in Kubernetes.
- You will expand our monitoring system and support its connection to on-call duty.
- You will optimize, test, and document existing solutions and contribute to the development of new approaches.
- You will familiarize yourself with our applications, protocols, and operational processes and increasingly take on responsibility for clearly defined topics.
What You Bring With You
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in system administration and a completed vocational training or degree.
- (neo)vim is familiar to you, and you are confident in the shell.
- Puppet, Salt, or Ansible are not foreign words to you, and you have practical experience with at least one of these systems.
- You can set up an Nginx proxy with a valid TLS certificate and have practical experience with Apache, Lighttpd, or HAProxy.
- You can navigate a database via CLI and perform simple administrative tasks.
- You are familiar with caching systems like Varnish or Redis and can deploy or operate them in existing software solutions.
- You are familiar with GitLab Pipelines and the Docker Registry and can understand and adapt existing pipelines.
- You can communicate in German (C1) and English in speech and writing.
What You Can Look Forward To Here
- Contemporary work culture: We are constantly trying out new ways in continuous exchange with each other.
- Flexibility and responsibility: Work hours and locations that suit you, your team, and your tasks, as well as self-responsible work in the team, are important to us.
- A clear, family-friendly mindset: We particularly consider the needs of parents and families in our decisions.
- Open company culture: Relaxed working atmosphere, short decision-making paths, and room for your own ideas characterize us. As do a strong team cohesion and a respectful and appreciative way of dealing with each other.
- Space and time for team exchange: Our teams take time to discuss current topics and topics outside of project everyday life and to gather impulses.
- Open, bright, and modern rooms, high-performance hardware and software, (optionally with AI assistants), great agency parties, free drinks, a dog-friendly office – and of course open and very nice colleagues who are looking forward to meeting you!
