Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for reliability, observability, and automation? Do you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges and collaborating across teams to build better, more resilient systems? We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Platform Delivery and Reliability Services (PDRS) team and help us grow and maintain our Observability Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and integrate solutions to provide monitoring and observability using an automation-first mindset
  • Use SRE principles to eliminate repetitive work, reduce lead time to detect and repair issues
  • Help increase the overall reliability of our products and services
  • Create a bridge between Development and Infrastructure teams by providing services, libraries, and best practices to ensure that requirements concerning observability (metrics, traces, logs, alerts, etc.) are part of the design of new systems
  • Keep up to date with compliance training offered by the company
  • Support and act in line with the company values
  • Share knowledge and contribute to team's documentation
  • Collaborate to achieve common goals
  • Follow the company processes, procedures, and methodologies

Requirements

  • Strong background in coding
  • Experience with writing scripts
  • Perform code reviews
  • Deep understanding of the Linux operating system
  • Experience working with distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following topics:
    • Alerting and Monitoring
    • Time Series Databases and Visualization
    • Logging
    • APM
  • Experience using infrastructure building tools
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code
  • Knowledge in container orchestration platforms
  • Experience working with public or private Clouds
  • Verbal and written communication skills
