Responsibilities

In this role, you'll provide advanced cloud operations for the top-of-the-line security products on the market, including our unique Zero Trust Security platform. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring application and network performance, reliability, and security for users connecting through the Akamai Zero Trust platform.
• Deploying and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Analyzing and improving the security, stability, speed, and capacity of our network.
• Automating new cloud service deployments.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud services to ensure SLA is met and adequate capacity is available.
• Analyzing logs and events from the cloud service and providing recommendations to ensure smooth service operation.
• Working within large-scale cloud-based infrastructure.
• Quickly identifying and resolving infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, IT, Information Systems, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Two (2) years of experience with Amazon Web Services including EC2, Lambda, ELB, Route53, EventBridge, and S3.
  • Experience with containerization platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD, Packer, Jinja, Pulumi, and Bash.

• Compensation: Base salary ranging from $138,237 - $171,000 /year, plus incentive compensation opportunities, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
