About the Position

We are seeking a SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team and help protect our customers against evolving cyber threats. You will play a key role in investigating security incidents, identifying attack patterns, improving detection capabilities, and supporting the continuous development of our SOC services.

Responsibilities

Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine their impact, scope, and root cause.
Participate in incident handling activities and provide recommendations for containment and mitigation.
Perform proactive threat hunting activities to identify potential threats and suspicious behavior.
Develop, tune, and optimize detection rules and monitoring use cases.
Conduct advanced log analysis and event correlation across multiple security technologies.
Create and maintain incident response playbooks and operational procedures.
Support and mentor L1 analysts during investigations and escalations.
Prepare incident reports and communicate findings to technical and management stakeholders.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a SOC, Incident Response, or broader Cybersecurity role.
Hands-on experience with SIEM and XDR platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, Defender XDR, Elastic).
Experience investigating security incidents across the complete incident lifecycle.
Strong understanding of attack techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Experience analyzing logs, correlating security events, and identifying malicious activity.
Understanding of common attack vectors including phishing, malware, credential compromise, and unauthorized access.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Advanced English and Czech – written and spoken.

Nice to Have

Experience with threat hunting activities.
Knowledge of cloud security technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Experience with KQL, PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
Experience with security automation and SOAR platforms.
Relevant security certifications (SC-200, BTL1, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, or similar).
Familiarity with security frameworks and industry best practices.
