Social Media Manager

About the Position

Generative Bionics is a deep-tech company building humanoid robot platforms to deploy human-centered Physical AI. We design intelligent, capable machines that work alongside people in real-world environments - developed in Genova, Italy.

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our communications team. You will help grow our presence across social platforms and position the company as a leading voice in the deep-tech ecosystem, translating complex deep-tech topics into engaging content while keeping a close eye on how our brand is perceived online.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan, create, and publish content across our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and others);
• Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with company milestones, product updates, and campaigns;
• Write compelling captions, threads, and short-form copy tailored to each platform and audience;
• Monitor social media activity related to the company, tracking mentions, conversations, and trends across platforms;
• Track performance metrics and provide regular reports with actionable insights;
• Engage with our online community and identify opportunities to grow reach and visibility;
• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand identity;

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Political Sciences, or equivalent technical background;
• Minimum 2 years in a social media or digital communications role, agency or in-house;
• Proficiency with social media management, scheduling, and monitoring tools; familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Business Suite);
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills;
• Content Skills: Strong copywriting ability and an eye for visual storytelling; able to brief or collaborate with designers and video editors;
• Language: Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken;
• Mindset: Creative, data-informed, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment;
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally is expected;

• Knowledge of SEO and content strategy principles;
