About the Position

We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users. Great opportunity to join our amazing SEO team by having a hand on building and executing social media strategy through competitive and audience research.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
• Generate, edit, publish, and share content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• Define the most important social media KPIs and measure the success of every social media campaign
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
• Collaborate with other departments, work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Team player with a positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Fluency in English

Nice to Have

• BSc in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations
• Knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO
• Highly responsible and committed
