About the Position
Software Analyst (Banking/Finance)
EmbedIT Vietnam is looking for a Mid/Senior Software Analyst to lead and support the analysis, solution design, and delivery of enterprise software systems for financial institutions across Southeast Asia.
This role bridges business objectives and technical implementation, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-quality solutions aligned with client strategy.
Your Future Role
- Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business users, product owners, and technical teams.
- Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements, workflows, and data models.
- Translate business objectives into detailed technical specifications with full traceability.
- Design and review business processes, identifying optimization and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to solution design discussions, including system architecture, integration patterns, and data flows.
- Prepare and review API specifications, integration mappings, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams throughout implementation, testing, and release.
- Lead or support UAT planning, defect triage, impact analysis, and production validation.
- Act as liaison between client stakeholders and delivery teams across Vietnam and Czech Republic.
- Mentor junior analysts and enforce documentation standards and analysis best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Functional Consultant in IT or financial services.
- Strong understanding of banking, lending systems, credit products, or consumer finance workflows.
- Experience working with enterprise systems, APIs, data integration, and multi-system environments.
- Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and make system design recommendations together with senior developers.
- Hands-on experience with requirement documentation, process modeling, and diagramming (e.g., workflow diagrams, system interaction diagrams).
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL for data validation, and diagramming tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with structured problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional, multinational environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating with ownership and accountability.
