Software Architect

About the Position

Take part in the adventure with us as we launch our product business line. We're looking for a Software Architect who can bridge the gap between ambitious product vision and pragmatic technical reality. You'll be the steward of our system's integrity-designing solutions that actually ship, scale, and evolve with our business.

Critical requirement: You must be an AI enthusiast who believes AI-assisted development is transforming how we build software. You see AI as a force multiplier for engineering teams and actively explore how to leverage it for better design, faster iteration, and higher quality code.

Responsibilities

• Technical Design: Translate complex requirements into clean system architectures. Decompose problems into manageable components, define quality attributes, and make deliberate technology choices based on trade-offs. Validate risky assumptions through prototyping and leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate experimentation.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure our technical decisions serve real business outcomes. Understand business drivers deeply, run cost-benefit analyses on architectural options, and plan for the long-term evolution of our systems.
• Leadership & Influence: Guide teams to build your vision without formal authority. Evangelize architectural decisions with clarity, mentor engineers to raise the team's technical bar, and help them adopt AI-assisted workflows. Negotiate pragmatic solutions when opinions clash and create documentation that actually gets read.
• Governance & Stewardship: Protect the system's health over time. Establish best practices for software implementation, set coding standards and design patterns, conduct code reviews, set up feedback loops with monitoring and metrics, and actively manage technical debt.

Requirements

• 8+ years building software systems, with at least 3 years in architecture or senior technical leadership roles.
• Deeply engaged with AI-assisted development.
• Pragmatic over dogmatic.
• A multiplier who makes everyone around you better through mentorship, clear communication, and leading by example.

Employment Details

This is a full-time, permanent position. While we operate fully remote, you'll have the option to work from our office in Iași, Romania whenever you'd like. We value face-to-face collaboration but trust you to work where you're most effective.
