If you are an expert in software licensing, familiar with complex licensing models from leading manufacturers, and comfortable navigating the partner programs of major technology providers, we want you to help shape the future of our license and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational responsibility for Software Asset Management (SAM) and company-wide license management
• Development and optimization of standards, processes, and guidelines in license management
• Management and optimization of software licenses throughout the entire license lifecycle
• Ensuring license compliance and preparing for and accompanying manufacturer audits
• Analysis of license contracts and identification of savings and optimization potentials
• Advisory services to internal departments on licensing models and contractual frameworks
• Management and development of partner programs from leading manufacturers such as Microsoft, Broadcom (VMware), Veeam, Citrix, or similar providers
• Conducting license and cost analyses and deriving recommendations for action
• Creation of reports, KPIs, and management evaluations

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), license management, or vendor management
• In-depth knowledge of licensing models from leading manufacturers, particularly Microsoft, Broadcom (VMware), Veeam, or other enterprise providers
• Experience with manufacturer audits and ensuring license compliance
• Good knowledge of partner programs, certification requirements, and manufacturer portals
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards manufacturers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Excellent German and good English language skills in speech and writing
• Desirable: Certifications in SAM or license management and experience with SAM tools and cloud license models
