About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with over 10 years of experience in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript to join our team in London, United Kingdom. This role is full-time and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve significant performance improvements and modernize tech stacks.
- Architect and develop scalable, resilient systems for financial transactions.
- Implement asynchronous communication and background processing.
- Develop GraphQL APIs and leverage React/TypeScript for scalable UIs.
- Conduct data-driven improvements through A/B testing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and JavaScript.
- Experience with React, GraphQL, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Proficiency in Agile, Git, Heroku, Stripe, System Security, and Data Migration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Redis, Sidekiq, ElastiCache, and Cloudflare.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Linux, and MacOS.
