About the Position

Software Developer (m/w/d)

You will develop a platform that runs in production plants every day: from the backend and machine connectivity through to the interface.

Location: Aachen, Bismarckstraße.

Hybrid, with two to three office days a week and a few more while you are getting up to speed.

Responsibilities

Developing and enhancing our cloud-based OEE platform – from the backend and APIs to the interfaces used daily in our customers' production facilities.
Connecting machines and third-party systems via interfaces such as OPC UA, MQTT, and ERP/MES systems, in close coordination with the Customer Success team.
Implementing new features from technical design and implementation to rollout, including code reviews and automated testing.
Analyzing and resolving issues during live operations, as well as optimizing performance and stability as data volumes grow.
Advancing our architecture and development processes by actively shaping technology decisions and challenging the status quo.

At least 1 year of professional experience in software development (experience with cloud-based or data-intensive applications is a plus).
A completed degree in computer science or equivalent training in a relevant field (e.g. business informatics, software engineering).
Proficiency in modern web and backend technologies as well as databases, version control, and CI/CD.
Structured, independent and team-oriented approach to work in a dynamic startup environment.
Passion for production topics and digital solutions as well as good proficiency in German and English.
