About the Position
Software Developer - Paid Internship
Montrose Software is a software consultancy based in New Jersey, USA, with our primary development center in Kraków, Poland. We develop mobile apps, web applications, and enterprise systems for a wide variety of clients. We are always looking for excellent programmers at all levels of experience, from students and recent graduates to professionals looking for a change. Responsibilities
Developing internal projects (~70% of the time)
- Developing Montrose internal projects
- Working on several different projects using various technology stacks, mostly web or mobile
- Being mentored by senior developers (e.g., code review, consultations)
Technical assistance for the office manager (~20% of the time)
- Various tasks that require some technical knowledge, such as preparing computers for new employees, comparing pieces of equipment we want to buy (e.g., screens), etc.
Montrosesoftware.com updates (~10% of the time)
- Updates to our company website
- Small changes, such as adding a new job offer
Requirements
- Very good spoken and written English
- Student of Information Technology or a similar faculty (at least 2nd year of studies)
- Knowledge of at least one programming language
- Knowledge of fundamental algorithms and data structures
- Willingness to learn new skills/technologies
- Analytical thinking
