About the Position
We're seeking a Software Development Engineer II to design, develop, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable services for SaaS application streaming and virtual desktop delivery at massive scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and operate secure, reliable, scalable customer features and internal operational improvements
- Maintain high quality standards through code, design, and document reviews
- Collaborate across team boundaries with strong ownership and delivery
- Build deep understanding of the system and customer workflows; participate in oncall and drive ticket/issue resolution
- Apply customer obsession across design, implementation, testing, deployments, and operations
- Communicate effectively to earn trust and drive consensus
- Contribute to continuous improvement of team efficiency and effectiveness
- Mentor and role-model best practices for junior engineers
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications/tools/systems/services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object-Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
