About the Position
Playtech's Information Management System (IMS) unit is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Java to join our team. You will play a crucial role in developing software solutions and introducing new technologies within IMS.
Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions and introduce new technologies within IMS
- Design, build, test, and debug reliable, high-quality software
- Contribute to a strong automated testing culture and ensure code quality
- Create and maintain development documentation while helping improve team processes
- Collaborate actively with your team, participate in retrospectives, and take ownership of your work
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional experience with Java in a commercial environment
- Have a solid understanding of core Java concepts and good theoretical fundamentals
- Have experience working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Are comfortable writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Are a team player who can collaborate effectively, while also taking ownership of assigned areas
- Are curious, proactive, and open to learning new technologies and approaches
