About the Position
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Plan and Visualise team at a multinational furniture company. As part of this team, you will be building 3D shopping experiences and integrating the company's planning tools across the user journey. We are looking for someone with 7+ years of experience in building consumer-facing products to a global audience.
Responsibilities
- Own the full life cycle of our product from ideas and post-it-notes all the way to running it in production
- Work as an empowered product team where you will have great influence over the direction of our product
- Collaborate with coworkers from Product, Engineering, Design, and Data/Analytics to co-create something really great that will delight and engage our users
Requirements
- Strong Javascript/Typescript skills
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code e.g. Terraform
- Collaborative mindset
- Strong focus on execution and delivery
- Experience running JS/TS based applications in the cloud at scale
- Experience working closely with UX designers, data analysts, and other disciplines
- Familiarity with DevOps model of development and QA within a single product team
Nice to Have
- Experience with edge computing (Fastly is a bonus)
- Experience with React
- Experience with Python
