Software Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a freelance Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Inetum. You will contribute to a variety of IT projects across Antwerp, Brussels, and hybrid working environments. Whether you are a senior developer, an architect, or a technical lead specialist, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to innovative software projects involving Java development, cloud-native applications, DevOps practices, software architecture, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Work on assignments such as Java Development, Senior Java Development, DevOps Engineering, Solution Architecture, Software Architecture, API and Integration Projects, Application Modernization Initiatives, and Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures.

Requirements

• Experience as a Java Developer, DevOps Engineer, or Architect.
• Strong knowledge of modern Java technologies and software engineering practices.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Available as a freelancer or open to future freelance opportunities.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
