About the Position
We are looking for a Software Engineer C to join our technical team at TMC, focusing on the development and evolution of Digital Twin solutions to support the development and validation of vehicle software, with a special focus on electrical mobility systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the technical and functional requirements of automotive systems to be reproduced in a virtual environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain software in C language that runs on a PC.
- Contribute to the development of Digital Twin models and virtual simulation environments to predict integration and validation activities of vehicle software.
- Integrate models, software components, and interfaces to simulate the behavior of automotive systems, including those of electric vehicles.
- Define and perform testing, debugging activities, and analyze the results, ensuring the quality and reliability of the code.
- Collaborate with developers and system engineers in code review, integration, and continuous improvement of simulation tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, or similar technical disciplines.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in software development in C.
- Good knowledge of the C programming language and the main development, compilation, and debugging tools in a PC environment.
- Knowledge of the principles of structured programming, software modularity, and memory usage.
- Interest in the automotive sector, virtual simulation, and Digital Twin technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and development, testing, and code review methodologies.
- Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, Model-Based Design, or automotive simulation environments is a plus.
- Analytical skills, accuracy, problem-solving ability, and teamwork.
- Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Availability for travel and relocation is considered a plus.
- Strong motivation to embrace the Employeneurship model of TMC.
We Offer
The position offers a permanent contract and a Gross Annual Income (RAL) of at least €30,000, in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) Trade – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.
TMC is committed to offering a competitive salary package. After the selection process, and considering the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may propose a higher final RAL than the amount mentioned above.
In accordance with our business model, the final salary package also includes:
- A participation component in project profit.
- An individual annual budget for training and professional development worth €4,000 net.
- An annual welfare credit.
More details will be provided during the selection process in accordance with the applicable company policies.
