Software Engineer (Frontend)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our remote team, specializing in 2D JavaScript frameworks like Pixi.JS and Phaser.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend services using modern web frameworks.
• Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years in frontend engineering, 2+ years with 2D JavaScript Framework experience (Pixi.JS, Phaser, or similar).
• Expert in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, responsive layouts, and component-driven architecture.
• Familiar and can apply TDD/BDD like practices.
• Performance optimization (change detection, lazy loading, bundle splitting).
• API integration: REST, WebSockets; robust error/edge-case handling.
• CI/CD familiarity; feature flags, environment config, release hygiene.
• Security basics (OWASP for web), auth flows (OAuth/OIDC/JWT).

Soft Skills

• Strong communication, code review, and mentoring skills.
• Product-oriented mindset.
