About the Position
We are looking for a Software Engineer (Full Stack - GoLang) to join our dynamic team at Maropost in Mohali, Punjab (Hybrid). If you are passionate about building scalable backend systems and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage REST API stack for Maropost Web Apps.
- Design and prototype architecture based on our big data, analytics, and cloud-native product vision.
- Understand systems architecture and design scalable, performance-driven solutions.
- Drive innovation within the engineering team by identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technologies.
- Lead the architecture and design governance for systems and products, and conduct code and design reviews.
- Provide technical leadership to the development team and ensure adherence to industry-standard best practices.
- Evaluate and improve the tools and frameworks used in software development.
Requirements
- B.E/B.Tech from top-ranked colleges.
- 3+ years of experience in building, designing, and architecting backend applications, web apps, and analytics, preferably in the commerce cloud or marketing automation domain.
- Experience in deploying applications at scale in production systems.
- Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL, etc).
- Experience in building and managing API endpoints for multimodal clients.
- Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a challenging and fun-filled startup.
- Advanced knowledge of HLD, LLD, and Design Patterns.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with GoLang.
- Experience with open-source databases and caching: Redis, Memcache, MySQL.
- Experience with cloud services: Managing infrastructure with basic services from GCP or AWS, such as VMs, Kubernetes clusters, and Load Balancers.
- Experience with open-source WAF tools and firewalls: Fail2ban, ModSecurity, Coraza.
- Frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Vue JS.
- Version control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Argo CD, Spinnaker, Terraform.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Apache Pulsar.
- Familiarity with TLS and SSL.
