Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using.NET and relational databases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services using.NET technologies (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core).
  • Develop and maintain web-based games using pixi.js.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards.
  • Participate actively in Agile processes, including sprint planning, estimations, and iterative improvements. Follow shift-left with TDD/BDD.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using.NET.
  • Proficiency in.NET, ASP.NET Core MVC/Web API, and C#.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, especially MS SQL or PostgreSQL, and ORM tools.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and optimizing database schemas and queries.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS).
  • Experience with messaging systems (e.g., NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ) is preferred.
  • Understanding of best practices for monitoring and observability of web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing. TDD, BDD, and shift-left practices.
  • Familiarity with microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture principles.
  • JS/Typescript related tech, with Angular or React.
  • Ideally to have experience with in-browser game engines (pixi.js/babylon.js/cocos.js or similar).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and shift-left practices.
  • Experience with in-browser game engines.
