About the Position

Software Engineer (GO)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (GO) to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with over 5 years of hands-on experience in Go, multiple databases (SQL, Redis, etc.), and messaging services (NATS, etc.). The position is remote and offers opportunities to work from Armenia, Cyprus, or Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain seamless payment integrations (gateways, processing services, and financial APIs).
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
  • Analyze 3rd party API and use it to implement new integrations.
  • Write high-performance, testable, and maintainable code to implement new functionality.
  • Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Go.
  • Experience with multiple databases (SQL, Redis, etc.) and messaging services (NATS, etc.).
  • Proficiency with GitLab and GitLab CI.
  • Experience with REST/RPC transports.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with micro-services design and development.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
  • Understanding of the development and implementation of scalable and reliable software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • English level: Intermediate or above.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of event-driven architecture.
  • Understanding of Twelve-Factor App methodology.
  • Experience with GitOps.
  • Familiarity with Grafana/Tempo/Loki/OTEL + Prometheus.
  • Experience with high load systems.

  • Proactive engagement with stakeholders to clarify requirements and payment flows.
