About the Position
Software Engineer (GO)
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (GO) to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with over 5 years of hands-on experience in Go, multiple databases (SQL, Redis, etc.), and messaging services (NATS, etc.). The position is remote and offers opportunities to work from Armenia, Cyprus, or Poland.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain seamless payment integrations (gateways, processing services, and financial APIs).
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Analyze 3rd party API and use it to implement new integrations.
- Write high-performance, testable, and maintainable code to implement new functionality.
- Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Go.
- Experience with multiple databases (SQL, Redis, etc.) and messaging services (NATS, etc.).
- Proficiency with GitLab and GitLab CI.
- Experience with REST/RPC transports.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with micro-services design and development.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
- Understanding of the development and implementation of scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- English level: Intermediate or above.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of event-driven architecture.
- Understanding of Twelve-Factor App methodology.
- Experience with GitOps.
- Familiarity with Grafana/Tempo/Loki/OTEL + Prometheus.
- Experience with high load systems.
