Software Engineer (GO)

About the Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer (GO) with 2+ years of experience to join our remote team. You will work on scalable and reliable software solutions using Golang, PostgreSQL, Redis, and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable software solutions
• Develop, optimize, and refactor code using the Go language
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
• Utilize Docker for containerizing applications and Kubernetes for orchestration
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Engage in various projects, including developing new features and migrating legacy systems

Requirements

• Development experience with Go for 2+ years
• Knowledge of the Go language, with experience in development, optimization, and refactoring
• Excellent time management and self-organization skills
• Strong communication skills, responsibility, and proactivity
• Strong analytical skills and an open-minded, creative team player
• Understanding of Twelve-Factor App methodology
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (k8s)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and GitLab CI

Nice to Have

• Intermediate English
• Ability to make decisions in uncertain situations and quickly adapt to changes
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS/GCP
• Understanding different system design approaches (EDD, DDD,...)
• Experience with GitOps, Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD
• Familiarity with Grafana, Tempo, Loki, and Prometheus
• Experience with high load systems
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to pass a test task to assess basic knowledge
