Software Engineer (GO)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (GO) with 5+ years of Go experience for a remote position, focusing on scalable and reliable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Analyze 3rd party API and use it to implement new integrations.
• Write high-performance, testable, and maintainable code to implement new functionality.
• Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Go for 5+ years.
• Experience with multiple databases (RDBMS, NoSQL, SQL, Redis, etc.) and messaging services (NATS, etc.).
• GitLab, GitLab CI.
• Experience with REST/RPC transports.
• Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with micro-services design and development.
• Experience with software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
• Understanding the development and implementation of scalable and reliable software solutions.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of event-driven architecture.
• Experience with any Front-end technology.
• Understanding of Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• GitOps.
• Terraform.
• Grafana/Tempo/Loki/OTEL + Prometheus.
• High load systems.

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills.
• English level: Intermediate or above.
