We are looking for a Software Engineer Java with at least 5 years of experience, who is open to 50% semi-presence in Calle Velázquez, Madrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement critical business backend Java applications
• Build scalable microservices architectures
• Develop distributed event-based systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ…)
• Apply good software engineering practices and maintain high code quality
• Implement automated testing (unit, integration, performance)
• Participate in automated packaging and deployment of applications
• Collaborate in product innovation (prototypes, functional and technical design)
• Work under agile methodologies (Scrum), ensuring value delivery

Requirements

• Solid experience in backend development with Java (JDK 8 mandatory, JDK 17 valued)
• Experience in microservices architectures
• Experience in event-driven systems and messaging
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Experience with Docker and containers
• Linux environments (shell scripting, packaging)
• Experience in automated testing
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (SCRUM)
• Fluent English (C1 minimum, essential for international environment)
