Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer proficient in Java, Spring, and Angular to join our team and contribute to developing and enhancing web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and enhance existing web applications and develop key system features.
  • Explore and evaluate new technologies to advance our SaaS platform and grow our business.
  • Serve as a full stack developer on teams that will execute projects from beginning to end, including working with product management, gathering requirements, brainstorming solutions, building final applications, and testing.
  • Work closely with architects and key stakeholders to design and implement cross-functional requirements.
  • Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Write clean code. Keep the code simple.
  • Continuously test from end to end.
  • Accountable to their own contributions and contribute to meeting team’s objectives.
  • Follow community best practices and team SDLC guidelines.

Requirements

Education and experience

  • 2 to 4 years of software development / engineering experience.
  • B.tech, BS, or MS in Software Engineering or related discipline.

Technical skills

  • Programming Languages: Java (Preferably 11+), JavaScript, Python
  • Frameworks: Spring boot, Groovy and Grails
  • Front End Technology: Angular (Preferably 16+ Version)
  • Experience with microservice development.
  • Experience in web application development.
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Postgres.
  • Experience with non-relational databases like MongoDB is preferred.
  • Experience with IaaS & PaaS from Azure cloud.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
