Software Engineer - One Gate Digital Identity @ING Hubs Romania

Join ING Hubs Romania as a Software Engineer for Digital Identity, focusing on microservices for authentication and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Create scalable software platforms and applications that are unit tested, code reviewed, and checked regularly for continuous integration.
• Manage applications and integration with other data suppliers.
• Plan and execute full software development life cycles (SDLC) for each assigned project, adhering to company standards and expectations.
• Examine existing systems, identify flaws, and create solutions to improve service uptime and time-to-resolve through monitoring and automated remediation.
• Design and build tools and frameworks to automate development, testing, deployment, management, and monitoring of the company’s 24x7 services and products.
• Plan and scale distributed software and applications, applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with urgency and quality.
• Resolve incidents raised by stakeholders.
• As part of a cross-border squad, work in an Agile/Scrum way, on the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years
• Mandatory Skills:
  • JVM language (Kotlin / Java / Scala)
  • Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Microservices
  • NoSQL/SQL databases (Cassandra, SQL Server)
  • Tooling: OpenShift or any container orchestration solution
  • Experience with async communication channels (Kafka)
• Language: English (advanced)
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT-related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with building OAuth2 / OpenID clients
• Azure DevOps
• Experience with distributed teams
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
