About the Position
Software Engineer - One Gate Digital Identity @ING Hubs Romania
Join ING Hubs Romania as a Software Engineer for Digital Identity, focusing on microservices for authentication and authorization.
Responsibilities
- Create scalable software platforms and applications that are unit tested, code reviewed, and checked regularly for continuous integration.
- Manage applications and integration with other data suppliers.
- Plan and execute full software development life cycles (SDLC) for each assigned project, adhering to company standards and expectations.
- Examine existing systems, identify flaws, and create solutions to improve service uptime and time-to-resolve through monitoring and automated remediation.
- Design and build tools and frameworks to automate development, testing, deployment, management, and monitoring of the company’s 24x7 services and products.
- Plan and scale distributed software and applications, applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with urgency and quality.
- Resolve incidents raised by stakeholders.
- As part of a cross-border squad, work in an Agile/Scrum way, on the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years
- Mandatory Skills:
- JVM language (Kotlin / Java / Scala)
- Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Microservices
- NoSQL/SQL databases (Cassandra, SQL Server)
- Tooling: OpenShift or any container orchestration solution
- Experience with async communication channels (Kafka)
- Language: English (advanced)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT-related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with building OAuth2 / OpenID clients
- Azure DevOps
- Experience with distributed teams
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
