Software engineer PLC control and Command

About the Position

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software for advanced measurement systems.
• Translate requirements into comprehensive designs for both software and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-domain experts to integrate solutions.
• Document designs and create user manuals for system operation.
• Deploy solutions at customer sites and provide technical support.
• Contribute technical insights to project proposals and feasibility studies.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• Strong command of Python and C/C++, and experience with tools such as Git, Qt/PyQt, and UML.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux software development environments.
• Knowledge of sensor and actuator command & control.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, and a solid understanding of protocols like RS-232, USB, SCPI, and Ethernet.
• Additional experience with PLC, SCADA, Embedded Systems Programming, Electronics, and FPGA (VHDL) is a strong advantage.

Educational Requirements

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience in a high-tech environment.
• Proven track record in command & control of sensors and/or actuators.
• Experience in software testing and design validation.
