About the Role

We are seeking experienced, flexible Senior Software Engineers-ideally with full-stack experience-who can support us in developing complex business applications and feel comfortable in cloud environments like AWS and/or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Conception, development, and continuous improvement of modern software solutions
• Participation in exciting customer projects-from requirements analysis to architectural decisions and productive implementation
• Development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications based on modern technologies and cloud platforms
• Identification and implementation of AI-supported features or use cases where they are technically sensible and economically viable
• Integration of machine learning models, LLMs, or data-driven services into existing or new systems-depending on the project context
• Technological advice to our customers on architectural and technology decisions
• Ensuring code quality through clean code, tests, reviews, and best practices
• Actively shaping new technological fields-especially in the growing area of artificial intelligence

Requirements

• Several years of experience in modern software development, ideally in a full-stack environment
• Solid practical experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI/ML)
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and data-driven systems, including cloud development with AWS and/or Azure
• Independent and responsible work approach with strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to develop pragmatic solutions for complex requirements and think beyond the obvious
• Proficiency in clean code, SOLID principles, and the design of clean software architectures
• High motivation and passion for software development
• Self-directed, structured work approach, and enthusiasm for actively driving new technologies

As we work as a service provider with different clients and projects, we are pleased to have experience in one or more of the following areas:

You don't have to bring all of this-what's more important to us is your senior experience, your willingness to learn, and your ability to quickly get up to speed with new technologies and project environments.

NERDWARE was founded in 2021 by Max and Peter with the idea of building software that fits-tailored instead of copy-paste. Today, we are a team of passionate developers, architects, and tech and AI enthusiasts. We work together from Nuremberg and Berlin-or completely flexibly remote.
