About the Position
Amusnet, a leading provider of best-performing gaming products and innovative solutions, is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join our dynamic engineering teams in Sofia, Bulgaria. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering teams to efficiently meet product development goals
- Optimize the Software Development Life Cycle and meet milestones in a timely manner
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders for transparent collaboration
- Collaborate with Product partners to align tasks with company objectives
- Lead technology discussions, address dependencies, and ensure stable collaboration
- Proactively communicate risks, fostering a collaborative problem-solving environment
- Drive tool and process standardization initiatives to establish consistency, streamline workflows, enhance communication, and ensure efficient collaboration
- Contribute to process enhancements for improved quality and performance
- Explore external knowledge sources for continuous growth and learning
- Foster a positive work culture by proactively addressing any challenges or concerns, promoting team motivation and cohesion
Requirements
- Proven track record in effectively managing and nurturing high-performing software engineering teams
- Extensive experience in a similar role within the IT industry
- Exceptional people management skills encompassing communication, teamwork, and leadership
- Ability to coach and motivate team members for their ongoing career growth
- Demonstrated success in leading projects within a fast-paced, growing organizational environment
- Strong cross-functional organizational skills
- Understanding of business needs with robust analytical abilities
- Track record of establishing productive relationships with stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science is considered an advantage
- Fluent in verbal and written English
