Salary: £74,000 - £102,000

Responsibilities

Focus on a domain within our Engineering function, working directly with clients to leverage the Kaluza platform to meet client needs in new regions.
Manage teams of engineers, up to 10 direct reports.
Contribute to both the technical and product vision of your teams, ensuring their products are successful.
Nurture the engineering talent in your teams, encouraging personal development, managing performance, and ensuring alignment with product delivery objectives.
Work closely with clients, product managers, and client success teams to deliver real value within their wider programme.
Contribute to and drive the technical roadmap and strategy for your area.
Champion operational excellence in your area and help your team be the best they can be.
Find the right channels to remove impediments and unblock your team to help them meet their product delivery objectives.

Requirements

Experience in Engineering Management or a related role working with high-performing cross-functional teams.
Passionate about growing and mentoring engineers within your teams.
Strong, positive relationships with clients through active listening, timely and transparent communication, and proactive concern addressing.
Fundamental understanding of the principles of Agile and lean development.
Excellent understanding of modern technologies, especially event-based systems such as Kafka.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior leaders across the business.

Nice to Have

Background in client-facing roles, including solutions engineering or consulting, with a proven ability to translate complex client needs into effective technical solutions.
Experience in any of the following domains: AI, ML, LLMs.
