About the Position
We are looking for a Softwareontwikkelaar voor virtuele omgevingen to join our team at TMC in Rome, Italy. In this role, you will develop and maintain full-stack applications, integrate software with RF measurement instrumentation, and optimize data processing and storage flows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications: web interfaces in Vue.js/TypeScript, drivers for tools and data processing in Python, management scripts in PowerShell and Bash.
- Integrate software with RF measurement instrumentation, managing communication via TCP/IP and message bus.
- Design and further develop measurement algorithms and data visualization dashboards.
- Manage the interface with relational databases and optimize data processing and storage flows.
- Implement a centralized logging system for events and errors.
- Collaborate with hardware and system teams for end-to-end integration and work on existing code.
- Contribute to technical documentation and project reports.
Requirements
- Laurea in Informatica, Elektronica, Telecommunicatie, Ruimtevaart, Mechatronica or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Vue.js; scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle) and writing SQL queries, including data migration between tables.
- Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation (e.g., spectrum analyzers, synthesizers) and data processing systems.
- Basic knowledge of networks and communication standards; good debugging skills.
- Plus: near real-time applications, client-server architectures, monitoring systems, and design patterns.
- Willingness to work in contexts requiring the handling of confidential information in the defense sector.
- Italian C2, English B2
We Offer
- A permanent contract.
- A base salary (gross annual income – RAL) of at least €36,000, in accordance with the provisions of the CAO Handel – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.
- A competitive salary package including direct participation in project profits (profit sharing), an individual training budget of 4,000 net euros per year, and an annual welfare credit.
- Further details will be provided during the selection procedure, in accordance with internal company guidelines.
