Solution Architect

About the Position

SOMFY, a French family-owned group and world leader in home automation for 50 years, is seeking a Solution Architect to join our team. As the preferred partner for window and door automation, we are committed to inspiring new and better ways of living for all.

Responsibilities

• Owner of Integrated Systems: Work with leading Integrated Building technologies and Protocols.
• Testing, Validation, Documentation, and Services (TVDS): Responsible for the TVDS of Somfy solutions with leading technology platforms.
• Professional Documentation: Lead the function that creates professional documentation (Proposal Document, ACAD Drawings, 3D Images) for projects to support Sales/BD teams.
• Systems and Processes: Create robust systems and processes for supporting all countries within the perimeter.
• Software, Tools, Platforms: Evaluate and propose Software, Tools, Platforms, for improving proposals for continuous professional documentation improvement.
• Knowledge Sharing and Training: Lead knowledge sharing and training of teams around Technologies, Protocols, Solutions, etc.

Requirements

• Experience: Must have worked in a similar profile with 8-10 years of experience in the building technology industry, having complete experience of Projects related activity in the Building Material / Construction Industry.
• Technology Knowledge: In-depth and hands-on experience of leading technology platforms, protocols, and systems knowledge in a connected building environment.
• Technology Trends: Updated with the latest technology trends and service level demands / expectations of different stakeholders in Projects Business.
• Software and Tools Usage: Proficiency in ACAD and other design software.
• Management Skills: Team Management, Time Management, Planning, and Organizing.
