Solution Architect

We're working with an established Norwegian technology company that is investing heavily in the development of modern software platforms and digital services. They are looking for a Solution Architect to play a key role in shaping future systems, guiding technical decisions, and working closely with both development teams and stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing robust and scalable solutions across a modern Microsoft technology stack. You'll act as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that architecture decisions align with long-term strategic goals.
- Design and maintain solution architecture for business-critical applications
- Define technical roadmaps and architectural standards
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Guide development teams on architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks
- Ensure scalability, security, maintainability, and performance across solutions
- Contribute to cloud and integration strategies
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET and C#
- Previous experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Senior Developer position
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations, and distributed systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working within agile development environments
