Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect for the pre-sales team who will be responsible for supporting sales teams and clients by designing, presenting, and validating cloud solutions built on Microsoft Azure, LLMs (OpenAI, etc.), FE, SAP, and SAP BTP. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to understand client requirements and propose optimal Azure-based architectures across three main areas: complex RFPs and new opportunities, regular/typical RFPs, and technology consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client business needs and technical requirements
  • Design and present Azure-based solutions, including architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and proof-of-concept plans
  • Lead technical discussions and workshops with clients, addressing questions and concerns regarding Azure services, security, scalability, and integration
  • Development and delivery of compelling presentations and demonstrations of Azure solutions
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with best practices
  • Stay current with Azure platform updates, new services, and industry trends
  • Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs, including solution architecture, sizing, and pricing
  • Build strong relationships with Microsoft and other technology partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Proven experience in pre-sales or solution architecture roles
  • Understanding of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, and security
  • Competency in governance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred

Nice to Have

  • Background in hybrid cloud and migration projects
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools in Azure
  • Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in a consultative, client-facing role
