What Will You Do?
You will play a key role in shaping and delivering cloud-based data solutions, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to define target architectures, security models, integration patterns, and operational frameworks. As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and well-governed solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms and services
- Define secure data onboarding, integration, and sharing patterns
- Lead architecture discussions with stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Design GCP-based services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and networking components
- Define infrastructure-as-code and automation approaches
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data management requirements
- Support technical decision-making during the implementation phase
- Provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams
- Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Drive solution design ownership and architecture governance across the project lifecycle
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or cloud architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking, and security architecture
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation practices
- Understanding of enterprise security, governance, and data management requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking or financial services
- Knowledge of data products or data governance frameworks
- Experience working within large enterprise cloud transformation programs
- Familiarity with DataOps and platform engineering concepts
