About the Position

Solution Architect Consultant with GCP

Join GFT Poland as a Solution Architect Consultant with GCP to shape and deliver cloud-based data solutions.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms and services
Define secure data onboarding, integration, and sharing patterns
Lead architecture discussions with stakeholders across business and technology teams
Design GCP-based services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and networking components
Define infrastructure-as-code and automation approaches
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data management requirements
Support technical decision-making during the implementation phase
Provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams
Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications
Drive solution design ownership and architecture governance across the project lifecycle

Requirements

8+ years of experience in solution architecture or cloud architecture roles
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions
Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking, and security architecture
Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation practices
Understanding of enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent English

Nice to Have

Experience in banking or financial services
Knowledge of data products or data governance frameworks
Experience working within large enterprise cloud transformation programs
Familiarity with DataOps and platform engineering concepts
