About the Position

We are seeking a Solution Architect to design scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions aligned with business needs in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

Designs and defines scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions aligned with business needs.
Bridges the gap between business and technology, guiding teams on architecture, integrations, and best practices while ensuring high-quality delivery.
Listens to business stakeholders and reads user stories, and designs the most applicable architecture based on reference architectures.
Focuses on clear architectural documentation.
Defines and follows up on Governance rules.
Communicates and contributes to the evolution of security rules, as well as the defined application and technological architecture.
Autonomous capacity for persuasion in the adoption of architectural rules in complex contexts.
Needs to be 2 to 3 days per week in office (Lisbon or Porto), Lisbon, preferred.
Needs to have good understanding of integration technologies, API design, and event-driven communication.
Needs to be reasonable and reach compromise solutions, while standing his/her ground on non-negotiable architecture and security guidelines.

Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams.
Ability for critical analysis and focused on problem solving.
Commitment to quality of deliveries.
Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence tools (valued).
Experience in strategic projects.
Knowledge of languages (written and oral): English (mandatory), Portuguese (valued), Spanish (valued).
Any architecture certification (MS, Cloud, etc.).
Consolidated knowledge of various types of architectural pieces, and adoption of new market trends, such as micro-services.
