Solution Architect with GCP

About the Position

We are seeking a Solution Architect with GCP to shape and deliver cloud-based data solutions. Join our team in Poland for a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms and services
• Define secure data onboarding, integration, and sharing patterns
• Lead architecture discussions with stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Design GCP-based services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and networking components
• Define infrastructure-as-code and automation approaches
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data management requirements
• Support technical decision-making during the implementation phase
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams
• Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications
• Drive solution design ownership and architecture governance across the project lifecycle

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or cloud architecture roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking, and security architecture
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation practices
• Understanding of enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience in banking or financial services
• Knowledge of data products or data governance frameworks
• Experience working within large enterprise cloud transformation programs
• Familiarity with DataOps and platform engineering concepts
