About the Position

Responsibilities
- Act as the first escalation point for operational issues, level 2 (L2) Support member.
- Technical and functional analysis of the production incidents/problem tickets and test defects.
- For SaaS customers, strategize the monitoring, alerting, configuring the health dashboard and insights with the help of continuous inputs from internal product team.
- Ensuring workarounds to major incidents are given where Java technical expertise is required.
- Engaging in frequent bridge calls with customers to provide functional/technical solutions to their problems.
Requirements

Domain/Application Support Experience (Mandatory):
- Global Payments
- Cash Management
- Core Banking

Good-to-Have Technical Understanding:
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Java technologies including Core Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful Web Services.
- Knowledge of Oracle, IBM MQ, and WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
- Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere and JBoss.
- Awareness of cloud platforms including AWS and/or GCP.
- Understanding databases such as Oracle and DB2/SQL.
- Exposure to tools including Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
- ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes is preferred.
- Prior experience in Application Production Support is an advantage.
