Solution Consultant/Business Analyst - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Act as the first escalation point for operational issues, level 2 (L2) Support member.
• Technical and functional analysis of the production incidents/problem tickets and test defects.
• For SaaS customers, strategize the monitoring, alerting, configuring the health dashboard and insights with the help of continuous inputs from internal product team.
• Ensuring workarounds to major incidents are given where Java technical expertise is required.
• Engaging in frequent bridge calls with customers to provide functional/technical solutions to their problems.

Requirements

• Domain/Application Support Experience (Mandatory):

  • Global Payments
  • Cash Management
  • Core Banking

• Good-to-Have Technical Understanding:

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Java technologies including Core Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful Web Services.
  • Knowledge of Oracle, IBM MQ, and WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
  • Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere and JBoss.
  • Awareness of cloud platforms including AWS and/or GCP.
  • Understanding databases such as Oracle and DB2/SQL.
  • Exposure to tools including Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
  • ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Application Production Support is an advantage.
