Solution designer

About the Position

We are looking for a Solution Designer to join our IT Integration team in Milan, Italy. The main purposes of this role will be to interpret business rules and functional and non-functional requirements to shape technical specifications according to the given architectural specifications in terms of interaction between systems, data exchanged, transformations, etc., according to a defined design methodology.

Responsibilities

• Participate and cooperate in shaping activities
• Participate in feasibility analysis for new or to-be-updated initiatives (Epic and User Story), evaluating the impacts for IT
• Perform detailed technical analysis/Design
• Participate in and support developers in the development phase
• Participate in IT delivery project planning, execution, and stakeholder management
• Provide test support and problem determination
• Participate in and collaborate in the definition of new suppliers and contract requirements
• Break down requirements and technical solutions into proper slices (User Story) thoroughly examining the costs, benefits, and risks of various options prior to selecting an approach; explain/justify decisions in a logical and systematic fashion

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience in the same role in a complex environment
• Excellent knowledge of IT architecture in place (for the relevant domain) and technical flows
• Advanced experience in REST & SOAP application services development
• Experience in front-end solution design
• Proven experience in application development with JAVA on/with J2EE platform, Spring, Spring Boot
• Junit testing, Test Driven Development, and Spring Integration testing
• Good knowledge of issue and code versioning tools (Azure and Git)
• Good knowledge of DBMS and SQL (Oracle, PL/SQL)
• Good knowledge of Agile paradigm and Scrum methodology
• Good knowledge of UML standard
• Good knowledge of microservices architecture and domain design model
• Good knowledge of retail banking business
• Good English knowledge (written and spoken)
• Synthesis and analysis and Systemic Vision
• Good Leadership capabilities, good Relation skills, and negotiation skills
• Teamwork
