Solution Designer (Aspiring Architect)

Location: London, England

Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 GBP

Employment Type: Perm

Work Location Type: Hybrid

This role is ideal for someone with a strong Azure infrastructure and applications background who's ready to take a step towards solution and enterprise architecture. The organization is going through a major technology transformation and is strengthening its architecture capability. At this stage, the focus is on solution design rather than pure delivery, supporting architectural decisions, understanding how systems fit together, and documenting solutions properly.

Responsibilities

• Supporting solution design and architectural assessments across enterprise platforms
• Translating requirements into logical and conceptual solution designs
• Producing and maintaining architecture diagrams and documentation
• Working across Azure infrastructure, applications, and integrations
• Supporting governance forums and solution review processes
• Acting as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• A strong Azure infrastructure or operations background
• Experience working across applications and enterprise systems
• Exposure to solution design, technical analysis, or architecture support
• Confidence producing technical documentation and diagrams
• A clear ambition to progress into architecture
