Solution Designer- AU Citizen with Security Clearance

About the Position

We are seeking a Solution Designer with AU Citizen Security Clearance to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This role focuses on developing detailed solution designs aligned with approved architecture and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed solution designs aligned to approved architecture and business requirements
• Translate high-level architecture into detailed technical designs and specifications
• Define application components, integrations, data flows, and configuration details
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, developers, and business analysts to ensure design clarity
• Ensure designs align with non-functional requirements including security, performance, and scalability
• Produce and maintain solution design documentation and diagrams
• Support development teams during build and test phases by clarifying design intent
• Participate in design reviews and address technical risks and issues
• Ensure traceability between requirements, design, and implementation

Requirements

• 3–5+ years’ experience in Solution Design, technical design, or senior engineering roles
• Strong experience producing detailed technical and solution design documentation
• Solid understanding of application development, integrations, and system design
• Experience working within defined architecture standards and frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application architectures
• Experience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Baseline Security Clearance
