Solutions Architect

About the Position

We're looking for an experienced Solutions Architect who enjoys bridging business needs with technology and helping shape successful client engagements from the earliest stages.

In this strategic role, you'll work closely with clients, sales teams, and delivery teams to design scalable technical solutions, support presales activities, and ensure projects start with the right technical direction. Beyond client work, you'll contribute to the company's technical excellence by driving knowledge sharing, mentoring colleagues, and exploring emerging technologies that can create value for both our clients and our business.

This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our office two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions during presales and Discovery workshops to understand business objectives, technical constraints, delivery expectations, and define solution approaches.
• Define solution architectures that balance business goals, technical feasibility, scalability, and delivery considerations.
• Contribute to RFP responses by defining solution architectures and collaborating on effort estimations.
• Review and validate estimates to ensure they are realistic and well supported.
• Support project kick-offs by providing architectural guidance and technical direction.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI, and evaluate opportunities to apply them in client and internal initiatives.
• Share knowledge through training sessions, workshops, conferences, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, or similar senior technical role.
• Strong background in software architecture and modern application development across multiple software domains and deployment infrastructures.
• Experience working with clients in presales, consulting, or solution design.
• Ability to translate business needs into fit-for-purpose technical solutions with careful consideration to implied tradeoffs.
• Experience with technical estimation and solution planning.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI and emerging technologies.
• Experience responding to RFPs and presales technical contributions.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Public speaking, mentoring, or technical community involvement.
