ABCloudz is seeking a Solutions Manager with a strong technical foundation and a passion for business development. As a Solutions Manager, you will act as the bridge between customers’ business challenges and ABCloudz’s technical capabilities. You will lead solution discovery, shape technical and commercial proposals, and work closely with engineering, architecture, and leadership teams to deliver high-impact, value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise and public sector customers to understand business goals, technical environments, and strategic priorities.
• Translate customer challenges into well-architected, scalable, and secure technical solutions aligned with ABCloudz’s service offerings.
• Lead solution discovery sessions, including technical workshops, architecture discussions, and executive-level presentations.
• Partner with business, delivery, and engineering teams to develop proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and solution roadmaps.
• Present, negotiate, and close deals with Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted technical and business advisor.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and hunt for new business through inbound and outbound leads.
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, commercially viable, and aligned with customer success outcomes.
• Contribute to practice development by creating solution frameworks, best practices, case studies, and go-to-market materials.
• Stay current with cloud, data, AI, and application modernization trends to continuously enhance ABCloudz’s solution offerings.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing, pre-sales, solutions management, or business development role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP), data platforms, application development, and modern IT architectures.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-focused language.
• Experience creating IT services and consulting proposals, SOWs, solution architectures, and pricing models.
• Track record of influencing and closing deals with senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach.
• High energy and positive attitude, operating in team environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Higher Education institutions, technical and business understanding of Ellucian Banner and Colleague product ecosystems, integrations, reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar.
• Familiarity with data platforms, analytics, AI/GenAI, and application modernization strategies.
• Understanding of Microsoft and/or AWS partner ecosystems.
