About the Position
We are strengthening our SW, Cloud and AI Sourcing team with a new Sourcing Manager position. In this role, you will work as a Sourcing Manager driving sourcing initiatives, negotiating supplier contracts, and building supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing to Maximize Value & Minimize Waste
- Executing strategic sourcing initiatives, focusing on software, cloud, and AI
- Driving early involvement in the sourcing process, co-creating a forward-looking sourcing pipeline
- Negotiating and managing supplier contracts
- Delivering measurable cost reduction and cost avoidance across external spend
- Identifying and executing cash flow optimization opportunities, including payment term improvements and P2P compliance
- Actively seeking new opportunities for the sourcing initiative pipeline
Supplier Strategy & Delivery Enablement
- Acting as a supplier manager towards designated suppliers
- Driving and developing strategic supplier relationships in collaboration with stakeholders
- Contributing to overall team performance as an active member of the sourcing team
- Driving commercial optimization initiatives, including:
- Renegotiation of key contracts
- Supplier consolidation and demand management
- Contributing to sourcing category strategies
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensuring adherence to sourcing policies, contracting standards, and PO compliance
- Strengthening governance across sourcing processes and supplier engagements
- Driving data-driven decision-making through analytics, reporting, and market intelligence
Requirements
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a proven track record of negotiating significant sourcing initiatives and managing global suppliers
- Experience in working with global software suppliers is preferred
- Experience in software licensing and cloud-based solutions business models is preferred
- Proven negotiation skills
- Experience in building and managing strategic supplier relationships to maximize value
- Experience in managing spend and using TCO (total cost of ownership) to minimize waste
- Experience from working in an international organization with complex business models and matrix organization
- M.Sc. from a relevant field
- Fully proficient written and verbal English communication skills
